BENTON – Kellie Jene Elliott, 64, of Westminster, SC, passed away on August 16, 2025, at Franklin Hospital in Benton, Illinois.
She was born on December 2, 1960, in Boise, Idaho, to Neil and Judith (Hughes) Woods.
Kellie worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at The Pearl at the Tillers Nursing Home in Oswego, IL, and Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL. She had a passion for caregiving, which was evident in her work and her relationships with others.
She also enjoyed wood and furniture crafting, playing Skip-Bo, and spending time with animals. Her love for animals led her to work at several boarding kennels over the years. More than anything, Kellie loved her family — especially her grandchildren, who brought her immense joy.

Kellie was preceded in death by her parents, Neil and Judith Woods.
In keeping with Kellie’s wishes, her body will be cremated. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
