CORINTH – A minivan ran off the road, drove through a cornfield and crashed into the front porch of a home in the 19000 block of Corinth Road in Williamson County just after 11 Thursday morning.

According to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, the driver said a mechanical issued caused the gas pedal to become stuck resulting in the vehicle running off the road and hitting the home.
The driver sustained minor, non-life-threatening injuries and was taken by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment.
Williamson County Fire responded to shore up the front porch so the minivan could be safely removed without structural collapse.
