DU QUOIN – Two male juveniles from Du Quoin have been charged for their involvement in a March 17 shooting at Casey’s General Store on North Hickory Street in Du Quoin.
According to Du Quoin Police, one is charged with Aggravated Battery, Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm and Possession of a Stolen Firearm. The other faces the same charges with the battery and discharge counts filed under accountability.
Police thank the Perry County Sheriff’s Office, Illinois State Police and the Perry County State’s Attorney’s Office for their help with this case.
