Two McLeansboro Men Face Drug Charges after Carmi Traffic Stop

CARMI – Two McLeansboro men face drug charges following a Tuesday night traffic stop on Main Street near Express Lube in Carmi.

Carmi Police say the driver, 70-year-old Curtis D. Patterson, is charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Unlawful Use of Property, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

His passenger, 59-year-old John G. Armey, faces the same charges, with an additional charge of Obstructing Justice.

Both men were taken to the White County Jail.
