MARION – For the first time since the pandemic, Marion Youth Flag Football is back, and it’s bringing big energy for a new generation of players ready to hit the field.

After a five-year break, the Marion Youth Flag Football League is making its long-awaited return this fall. Designed as the perfect introduction to the sport, this fast, fun, non-contact program teaches real football skills in an atmosphere that gets kids fired up for what’s ahead.
“This league has always served as a launchpad for future Wildcats,” said Olivia Morgan, Marketing & Business Development Coordinator for The HUB Recreation Center “In bringing it back, we’re thrilled to welcome a new generation of players to a beginner-friendly, encouraging environment that fosters a love for the game.”
Open to incoming 3rd and 4th graders, the program focuses on movement, strategy, and teamwork, using the same techniques and play styles athletes will see as they continue on to Marion Youth Tackle Football. Whether your child is brand-new to the game or already dreaming of Friday nights under the lights, their football journey begins here.
