Extreme Heat Continues Through Tuesday, Relief Expected Mid-Week

PADUCAH – More dangerous heat and humidity will continue through the first half of this week, with the worst of the heat expected today and Tuesday according to forecasters at the National Weather Service in Paducah.

Relief from the heat wave is coming as a cold front will bring a chance of thunderstorms Wednesday night into Thursday. Much more comfortable temperature and humidity levels are forecast Thursday through next weekend.

A Heat Advisory is in effect until noon today. An Extreme Heat Warning begins at noon today and runs until 8 p.m. Tuesday. Then at that time, an Extreme Heat Watch will be in effect until 8 p.m. Wednesday.
