SPRINGFIELD – A Springfield woman is lodged in the Jackson County Jail for allegedly forcing her way inside a home in the 3100 block of West Sunset Street Tuesday night and battered the victim when they answered the door.
Carbondale Police arrived at the scene shortly after 6 after getting a report about a home invasion. The victim received minor injuries, but declined medical attention.
The suspect, identified as 26-year-old Jazlen C. Bolden, refused to identify herself and battered officers when they arrested her.
Bolden is charged with Home Invasion, Battery, Aggravated Battery to a Police Officer, Resisting a Peace Officer and Obstructing Identification.
