CARMI – A Carmi woman was arrested on a Jefferson County warrant shortly after 5 Friday afternoon on Shipley Street in Carmi.
Carmi Police say officers helping White County Sheriff’s deputies with a trespassing complaint in the 700 block of Shipley saw Ott getting out of a vehicle at an address next door. It was believed she was wanted on an active warrant.
Police were able to confirm the warrant through White County Dispatch and made contact with Ott. Ott was arrested and taken to the White County Jail where she bonded out about a hour later.
