DAHLGREN – Kenneth Gordon Page, 88, of Dahlgren, IL, passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at his home in Dahlgren.
Gordon was born on April 22, 1937, to Kenneth and Emeral Page. On March 30, 1957, he married Patricia (Murphy) Page, who survives.
Gordon worked as a machinist for Illinois Tool Works of Elgin, IL, before retiring. He was a former member of the Village of Dahlgren board and attended Dahlgren Community Chapel. He loved hunting, fishing, and collecting knives. He also enjoyed sports cars and owned several over the years. Gordon especially loved spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Page of Dahlgren; daughter, Pamela Ridings of Dahlgren; sons, Michael Page of Dahlgren and Stephen Page (Lori) of Belle Rive, IL; five grandchildren: Lenny Ridings (Sandi), Lee Ridings, Chelsea Williams, Kenneth Page, and Stephen Page (Johanna); several great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Brake (Richard) of Marion, IL; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Pete and Judy Peters of Dahlgren; and several nieces and nephews.
Gordon was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Emeral Page; grandson, Nathan Ridings; daughter-in-law, Marcia Page; and brother-in-law, Ray Murphy.
A graveside memorial service for Kenneth Gordon Page will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Dahlgren, IL, with Pastor John Hefner officiating. Those attending are asked to meet directly at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Dahlgren Community Chapel and will be accepted at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro, IL.
