Back to School Bash Today at Jackson County Health Department

MURPHYSBORO – Molina Healthcare of Illinois is partnering with the Jackson County Health Department to host a Back to School Bash this afternoon, from 3 to 5, at the health department in Murphysboro.

The event will offer back to school vaccines, fluoride treatments, car seat checks, as well has backpacks and school supplies for those in attendance. Local agencies will also be there to share information about available community resources.

For many parents and guardians, the back-to-school season can be overwhelming. In Illinois, parents spend an average of $886 per child on school supplies. Through this event, Molina aims to ease that burden by offering convenient access to essential health services and school supplies—all in one place. The goal is to support families in leading healthier, more fulfilling lives as they gear up for the school year ahead.
