BENTON – Barbara Ann Strickler, 90, of Benton, passed away 4:15 p.m., on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at the Nature Trail Health and Rehab Center in Mount Vernon, IL.
She was born on February 12, 1935, to Harold and Ann (Greleski) Wagner in Chicago, IL. She married Charles Edward Strickler and he preceded her in death.
Barbara is survived by her loving children: Thomas Strickler, Joyce (Dave) West, Cheryl Nicholson, Debra Strickler and Tim (Dawn) Strickler; eight grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Ann Wagner; her husband, Charles Edward Strickler; her brother, James Wagner; and her sister, Mararet Shaw.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Pate Funeral Home, 301 South Main Street, Benton, IL.
Per Barbara’s wishes, cremation will take place.
