Aaron Lee Wilkerson

DAHLGREN – Aaron Lee Wilkerson 36, of Dahlgren, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025. Aaron was born November 17, 1988, in Mt. Vernon; a son of David and Mary (Whipple) Wilkerson. On December 30, 2017, he married Rikki Renee (Unfried) Wilkerson and she survives.

Aaron attended Ten Mile Church in McLeansboro. He was a maintenance mechanic for Continental Tire in Mt. Vernon. Aaron enjoyed time with his children, going to Amish community auctions and working on the farm.

Survivors include his wife, Rikki; children: Lena, Jerrica and Calvin all at home. His sister, Alysha Suver and husband Caleb, of Ewing; parents, David and Mary Wilkerson of Dahlgren; sister-in-law, Desiree Graves and husband Steven of McLeansboro, two brothers-in-law: Cody Robertson and wife Shaina of McLeansboro and Christopher Johnson and companion Shandra of McLeansboro; nephews, Hunter and Chance Graves, Brooks Suver and Remi Robertson; and nieces: Whitley and Willa Suver and Rowan Robertson. Also surviving is his grandmother, Lois Wilkerson of Belle Rive.

Aaron is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Katherine Whipple and Kenneth Wilkerson.

Visitation for Aaron will be Monday, June 30, 2025, from 4 to 6 p.m., at Ten Mile Church in McLeansboro. A memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. with Pastors Jacob Gray and Alan Spangler officiating. A family burial of ashes will be held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Dahlgren at a later date.
