Jury Convicts Du Quoin Felon of Possessing a Firearm

BENTON – A federal jury in Benton has found a Du Quoin man guilty of possessing a firearm as a felon in Franklin County according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Illinois.

The jury convicted 42-year-old Marcus T. Moore of one count of Being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm stemming from a Sept. 10, 2023 traffic stop in Sesser.
