Carmi Traffic Stop Leads to Multiple Charges for Carrier Mills Man

CARMI – A Carrier Mills man is facing multiple drug charges and a weapons charge after being stopped by Carmi Police at Tequilas on Main Street Friday night.

Police say 26-year-old Brennen D. Hawkins was arrested for Possession of Meth 15 to 100 grams, Participation of Meth Manufacturing 15 to 100 grams, Meth Manufacturing Material, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Use of Property, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle by a Driver. He was also cited for Operation of Motor Vehicle with Suspended Registration due to Mandatory Insurance and Operation of an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.

Hawkins was lodged in the White County Jail.
