CARRIER MILLS – An out of compliance unregistered sex offender was taken into custody following a traffic stop near the post office in Carrier Mills Sunday night according to Carrier Mills Police.
Police saw Cheyenne Pitts driving a vehicle and knew his driver’s license had been suspended. A routine license plate check also found that his plates were suspended.
Police stopped Pitts, confirmed that his license was suspended and that he had not been in compliance with his sex offender registration since Feb. 6, 2024.
Pitts was arrested and booked into the Saline County Jail.
