MCLEANSBORO – A McLeansboro man has been charged with Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault of a Child Under the Age of 13.
McLeansboro Police say 27-year-old Tristin Cain was arrested on the charge Wednesday.
The arrest follows an investigation initiated last Friday when officers received a complaint involving a juvenile who disclosed being molested by a family member to a friend. Working in conjunction with the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) and the Amy Schulz Child Advocacy Center, a second victim was identified.
Cain was interviewed Wednesday and reportedly confirmed the accusations leading to his arrest.
