Potential for Severe Storms Tonight and Tuesday for Our Region

PADUCAH – The National Weather Service in Paducah says our region is in a Marginal to Enhanced Risk of severe thunderstorms tonight, and in a Slight to Enhanced Risk of severe storms tomorrow into tomorrow evening.

Isolated to widely scattered storms are possible today. Lightning is the main hazard. Higher coverage of thunderstorms are expected tonight with some storms becoming strong to severe. Large hail and damaging winds are the main hazards tonight.

Thunderstorms are again expected on Tuesday with severe storms likely. Large hail, damaging winds, and a few tornadoes remain possible with any severe storms. While the greater threat of severe weather is in western Kentucky, the entire area is under a risk for severe weather.
