MCLEANSBORO – After getting several requests to fill swimming pools, the McLeansboro Fire Department is now accepting applications to fill your pool.
Officials say this is completely done with volunteer help from members of the fire department.
There are several factors that come with doing these, such as availability of volunteer help, weather, and emergency calls for service.
The fire department will be making some money off of this as a fundraiser. Proceeds will go toward purchasing new gear and equipment.
To get on the pool filling list, call City Hall at 618-643-2723 or stop by the fire department and complete an application as soon as you can.
