Thomas Leslie “Tom” Prince

MCLEANSBORO – Thomas Leslie “Tom” Prince, age 74, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Silver Fox Senior Living surrounded by his loving family and Pastor Jacob Gray. 

Thomas was born March 18, 1951, in McLeansoboro to Everett and Doris Prince. 

Thomas joined the United States Marine Corp in 1971 and served his country for three years. 

Thomas is survived by his wife of 17 years, Linda. He is also survived by his daughter, Leslie (Bobby) Frassato of Marion; two sons, Dustin and Kyle Prince both of San Tan Valley, Arizona; and a step-son, Jeremy Devoy and fiancé Audree of Eldorado; grandsons, Austyn (Kylee), Kyle, and Joshua; granddaughter, Brevyn (Joshua); step-grandson, Johnathan (Jacie), and Justin; step-granddaughter, Alyssa; two great-grandsons, one great-granddaughter, and three great-step-grandsons; sister, Dana Hunt of Dale; and brothers, Terry (Julie) of Elkview West Virginia, and Duane (Kami) of Scotts, Michigan. 

Tom enjoyed gardening, working in the yard, and watching the hummingbirds. He was a member of the American Legion Post 106 and Ten Mile Baptist Church. 

Visitation will be Saturday, April 26, from 2 to 4 p.m., at the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro. The funeral will follow at 4 p.m. Burial will be held in the Odd Fellows cemetery with full military rights. 

Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children. 

The Harre Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
