HARRISBURG – Harrisburg Police are currently investigating a Thursday night shooting at a home on North Jackson Street.
Police say several 911 calls came into Saline County Central Dispatch reporting shots fired near Baker Street and Jackson Street around 8:30 p.m. Police responded and took a person of interest into custody on an outstanding warrant. No injuries were reported. Police say there’s no threat to the public. More information will be released as the case evolves.
The Saline County Sheriff’s Office, Galatia Police and Illinois State Police Crime Scene Services are assisting Harrisburg Police with the investigation.
