CARMI – Through a combined effort of churches, businesses, civic organizations and individuals within the Carmi community, you’re invited to a free Thanksgiving meal on Thursday, Nov. 28, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at First Christian Church. It’s located at the corner of Plum and Bohleber in Carmi.
Meals will be served at the church and home deliveries will be provided.
Transportation will be available for those who may need a ride to the church to enjoy the food and fellowship on this Thanksgiving Day.
Everyone planning to attend or receive a home delivered meal needs to call no later than Tuesday, Nov. 21 and let organizers know if you will be eating on sight, need transportation or desire a home delivered meal. The number to call is 618-382-8082.
