CHICAGO – Two Southern Illinois landmarks will be among several honored with awards at this year’s Landmarks Illinois Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Preservation Awards Ceremony in Chicago on Oct. 18.
According to the Landmarks Illinois website, Havisham Bourbon, Brew & Spirits in Alto Pass will receive the Award for Adaptive Use.
Montgomery’s Place in Carterville will receive the Award for Rehabilitation.
The ceremony recognizes exceptional efforts in preserving, restoring and revitalizing historic places in Illinois.
