CARBONDALE – Carbondale Police say a Carbondale woman has been charged with Aggravated Battery and Criminal Damage to Property after she battered an employee during a dispute at a business in the 800 block of East Main in Carbondale Monday night.
Police responded to the business at 6:20 p.m. after getting a report of an aggravated battery and criminal damage to property complaint.
After battering the employee, the suspect left the area prior to officers arriving.
Investigators identified the suspect as 33-year-old Kodi E. Colbert of Carbondale. She was arrested Tuesday on the charges we mentioned at the beginning of this story. She is lodged in the Jackson County Jail.
