MT. VERNON – The Mt. Vernon Fire Department will begin fire hydrant testing, weather permitting, starting Tuesday and running through Friday of next week.
The area that will be tested will be primarily south of Broadway from South 10th to South 27th streets.
Residents are cautioned that testing can cause discoloration in the water supply in the area being tested.
