BENTON – After a months long investigation, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says a Mt. Vernon man was arrested and charged Wednesday with two counts of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse – a Class 2 felony.
Franklin County Sheriff Kyle Bacon says 24-year-old Noah T. Gordon is lodged in Franklin County Jail.
Sheriff Bacon says several law enforcement agencies and Franklin County Sheriff’s Office detectives investigated the allegation which led to an arrest warrant being issued by the Franklin County State’s Attorney.
The Centralia Police Department, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, and Amy Schulz Child Advocacy Center all participated in the investigation.
