WILLIAMSON COUNTY – The National Weather Service says two tornadoes were reported in Williamson County from severe storms we experienced earlier this week.
The weather service has made a preliminary designation of an EF2 tornado affecting Lake of Egypt and an EF1 tornado affecting Stonefort.
According to Williamson County Emergency Management Director Brian Burgess, a formal designation will be released once the damage assessment is compared with the radar-indicated tornadoes.
