BENTON – The Franklin County Board is expected to name Zachery Halstead as interim director of the Franklin County Emergency Management Agency at a special meeting tonight at the Franklin County Courthouse in Benton.
Current FCEMA Director Ryan Buckingham is on leave for the foreseeable future due to a medical issue.
Halstead currently serves as the agency’s Chief of Staff. Halstead’s appointment to Interim Director will allow him to administrate the agency with full power and authority of Director while Buckingham focuses on his recovery.
