MARION – A Marion woman was taken into custody late Tuesday night after Williamson County Sheriff’s deputies executed a search warrant and recovered illegal drugs at a home in the 1300 block of Nicklaus Lane in the Lake of Egypt area.
The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office says located on the property was methamphetamine, cannabis, drug paraphernalia, materials used in a grow operation, plants, and other drug related material.
Sheriff Jeff Diederich says the residents who live in this area are tired of the constant traffic and drug related activity.
Theresa A. Wood of Marion was taken into custody. She was lodged in the Williamson County Jail.
The sheriff’s office says this is an ongoing investigation. Additional charges are expected.
