WEST CITY – West City broke ground Monday on its new police department located at the intersection of West Webster and South Central streets.
Officials say construction will begin next week and should be completed in late February of next year. It will house the police department and its dispatch center. That’s according to a post on the West City Police Department Facebook page.
The new police department will replace the current West City Police Department, which was originally Washington School, built in 1950.
