MARION – A Williamson County jury recently found a Colp man guilty of murder in the June 2022 stabbing death of another man in Colp.
Fifty-nine-year-old Nathan Clark was arrested and charged with murder. He was lodged in the Williamson County Jail.
On Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 6:45 a.m., the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office received calls from two different locations regarding a disturbance.
The sheriff’s office and Illinois State Police responded to the 300 block of Johnson Street and the 700 block of Ferguson Street.
Authorities found a 30-year-old man with stab wounds on Johnson Street. The man was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead.
Clark will be in Williamson County Court again for his sentencing hearing Dec. 19.
