CARBONDALE – A Carbondale resident is facing a gun charge after being stopped in the 600 block of North Giant City Road for a traffic violation Wednesday.
The Carbondale Police Department says 21-year-old Adrielle L. Gaston is charged with Unlawful Use of a Weapon. Gaston is lodged in the Jackson County Jail.
Police say the vehicle was previously reported to be involved in an unlawful use of weapons complaint on Monday. In the course of the traffic stop, officers located a handgun in the vehicle.
Carbondale Police continue to investigate.
