MARION – Sydenstricker Nobbe Partners, a family-owned, full-service John Deere dealer group, has purchased the remaining available tickets for the Thrillville Thrillbillies baseball game in Marion on Wednesday, July 12th. Jared Nobbe, SNPartners’ Division Manager, announced Monday that they will give the tickets to the public at no cost.
SNPartners is the presenting sponsor of Wednesday’s game. “It’s ‘Harvesting Thrills Night’ at the ballpark and it will be the team’s special salute to agriculture,” Nobbe said. “So, it’s a great fit for our group. We were already giving away tickets to our employees and customers at our dealerships in Anna, Benton, Carterville, Norris City and Steeleville. The response to the ticket giveaway was so positive that we decided to invite all of Southern Illinois to join us!”
When Thrillbillies take on the rival, the O’Fallon Hoots Wednesday, there will be much more than baseball for fans to enjoy according to Thrillbillies’ Manager of Sales and Partnerships, Lauren Surprenant. “Thanks to Sydenstricker Nobbe Partners the very latest John Deere equipment will be showcased on the concourse,” Surprenant said. “We also hope to have some vintage Deere tractors, local agriculture-focused groups along with fun and funny farming games for fans!”
Sydenstricker Nobbe Partners was formed in January 2020 when two family-owned, full-service John Deere dealer groups merged. Sydenstricker Implement Company headquartered in Mexico, Missouri, and Wm. Nobbe & Co. headquartered in Waterloo, Illinois partnered to form Sydenstricker Nobbe Partners with 28 locations across Missouri and Illinois.
“We are making it easy for anyone who wants free tickets,” Nobbe said. “Just stop by any of our dealerships in Anna, Benton, Carterville, Norris City and Steeleville, and we’ll get you set up.” Fans can also visit the Stadium in Marion for free tickets. The Stadium Box Office is open from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, with extended hours on Game Day. On Wednesday, July 12th gates open at 5:45 p.m., with the first pitch at 6:45 p.m.
