MARION – An armed robbery took place at a Marion gas station Sunday night.
According to the Marion Police Department, it happened at 8 p.m. at Valero Gas on West Main Street.
When officers arrived, they met with the gas station owner who said that an unidentified male, wearing all black clothing and a black mask, entered the store and began yelling “give me all your money,” “give me your things” and pointed a black handgun at the employees. The robber was able to escape the store with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect got into a dark colored passenger vehicle and headed west from the gas station.
